Question… Why does it appear to me as if somehow, the debate between Catholics & Protestants seeps into public arenas where we ought be more unified in? (I’ve noticed the common enemies to Protestants & Catholics are targeting OUR CHILDREN!!!!!!)

  • New Apologetics Have you not heard that your “enemy” is the scourged and mocked Christ, blinded by his own blood?

We reply: Christ has identified himself with every person. If we hate another, we hate Christ.

  • New Apologetics Dominique Tupas Jorillo Do not forget that we are commanded to love our neighbor as ourselves. Thus, we must have reverence for our own failure. God’s grace makes this love possible. He enables us to see ourselves as he sees us. There are reasons why we do the things we do, and he knows them even when we don’t. We think of ourselves as walking contradictions, but he sees that we are looking for justice.

  • New Apologetics Scott Maddox We suspect that it is the opposite of false unity. Sometimes people pretend to be “united” when they are not, and that gives rise to the distinction. We don’t take a stance of false unity on this page, though we can understand why it would seem so on a superficial look.
